Yachts in this class run from 37 feet to 49 feet in size. They are designed to carry 2 to 4 passengers in comfort. Please check with your charter agent as to which vessel will be best suited to your groups size and privacy requirements. This is an excellent choice for honeymooners.
Medium sailing yachts – 4 to 6 passengers
Average $1,200 per person, per week, based on 6 passengers
Yachts in this class run from 50 feet to 60 feet in size. They are designed to carry 4 to 6 passengers in comfort. Please check with your charter agent as to which vessel will be best suited to your groups size and privacy requirements. As you get up to the larger size yachts you gain speed under sail and the ability to carry more toys.
Large sailing yachts – 6 to 10 passengers
Average $1,650 per person, per week, based on 8 passengers
Yachts in this class run from 60 feet and up in size. They are designed to carry 6 to 8 passengers in comfort. Please check with your charter agent as to which vessel will be best suited to your groups size and privacy requirements. You will find that in the larger size vessels that you don't gain in the number of cabins, just in the size of the individual cabins. In this size you will find the most toys and on board facilities. Also if you are keen sailor and enjoy speed undersail there is nothing like taking the helm of one of these beauties doing 10-12 knots.
Small motor yachts – 2 to 4 passengers
Average $1,825 per person, per week, based on 4 passengers
Yachts in this class run in size up to 65 feet. They are designed to carry 2 to 4 passengers in comfort. Motor yachts can cover a much greater distance quickly as compared to sailing yachts. They are also more expensive because of fuel and machinery expenses. Please check with your charter agent as to which vessel will be best suited to your groups size and privacy requirements. This is an excellent choice for honeymooners.
Large motor yachts – 4 to 10 passengers
From $2,800 per person, per week, on up
Yachts in this class run in size from 65 feet and up. They are designed to carry 4 to 10 passengers in comfort. Motor yachts can cover a much greater distance quickly as compared to sailing yachts. They are also more expensive because of fuel and machinery expenses.
Note that you do not get more cabins in the larger yachts, just larger cabins. Because of their size these yachts offer you everything you could possibly want in a yachting vacation. And as in all size and type yachts, excellent personal service. Please check with your charter agent as to which vessel will be best suited to your groups size and privacy requirements.
Catamarans – 2 to 8 passengers
Average $1,800 per person, per week, based on 6 passengers
These unique sailing vessels range in size from 45 to 60 feet. They are designed to carry up to 8 passengers. Their big advantage is the amount of available deck space. Although very wide, they do not offer more cabin space than other kinds of yachts.
