Best Caribbean island??
Virgin Gorda – BVI Baths

Which do you think is the Perfect Caribbean Island?

VIRGIN GORDA
Virgin Gorda, or "Fat Virgin", refers to a protruding mountain noted by Columbus on this second largest of the British Virgin Isles. Its most celebrated beach - The Baths - is an intriguing grouping of huge granite rocks framing grottos filled with with sea water. While geologists ponder the origins of these mysterious boulders, swimmers and snorkelers refresh themselves in the cool waters of hidden pools and secret passages.

LEVERICK BAY
Leverick Bay, one of Virgin Gorda's main marinas.

JOST VAN DYKE
Jost Van Dyke, four miles long, is truly the "barefoot" island known by travelers around the world for its casual lifestyle, protected anchorages, fine beaches and beachfront restaurants and bars. A favorite destination of yachties.

NORMAN ISLAND
Norman Island, legend plays a large part in the history of Norman Island with tales of pirates and treasure caves, although the role of the island as the model for the epic “Treasure Island” by Robert Louis Stevenson is perhaps the most famous legend of all. Home of the snorkeling site known to the world over as "The Caves" and the Pirates Bight bar and restaurant.

CHARLOTTE AMALIE
St. Thomas, Charlotte Amalie once served as the capital of Denmark's outpost in the Caribbean until 1917. Not too large of a town, you can easily walk around this historic place in an hour. Expect lots of hills to cover whether your driving or walking, but benches have been placed all over the city to rest sore feet.

CRUZ BAY
St. John, Cruz Bay. Shallow coral gardens, shear rock faces, and fringing coal reefs have an outstanding variety of hard and soft corals, sea fans and sponges of every hue. Wild life is abundant with many tropical fishes.

PETER ISLAND
Peter Island It is mainly uninhabited with just a few private houses. It has two beautiful, palm fringed beaches in Dead Man's Bay. It also has two overnight anchorages at Little Harbour and Great Harbour. Turtles can often be seen swimming in Little Harbour.

SANDY CAY
Sandy Cay, located to the southeast of Jost Van Dyke. Like a Hollywood version of a desert isle, Sandy Cay is one of the B.V.I.’s most idyllic locales. Bask on its wide, sand beach and walk along the nature trail that winds through the island’s interior.

MARINA CAY
Marina Cay is a tiny island, protected not only by its sizeable reef which is brilliant for snorkelling. Watersports activities on Marina Cay include snorkelling in the lagoon, kayaking and scuba diving.
