A vacation on your own professionally staffed Charter Yacht begins with figuring out what is the best yacht for your needs. The best way to do that is through working with a charter vacation specialist. We will talk to you and identify exactly what will make this the perfect customized vacation for you.
The first question is obviously how many people will be going? We can handle any number of people, from 2 to 200, but exactly how to do it is key. Will there be children who need separate berths versus adults who wouldn't care much for bunk beds on their honeymoon? Do you need a yacht that offers SCUBA diving, or even dive instruction, or just casual snorkeling to see the underwater world of our beautiful islands? Are you active on the go types who need a crew who can not only keep up with you, but will have activities ready and planned; or are you laid back, swing in a hammock types who want a crew to match your vacation ideal.
This is what the charter vacation specialist helps you to determine. Let's face it, anyone can have a good-looking brochure. Our specialists travel to the islands for the Boat Shows put on by VICL twice a year, so they have actually seen the yacht and more importantly, talked to the crews. They spend time getting to know the individual crews so they can match you with yachts and crews who can make you vacation extra special.
This is the real difference between this vacation and others. With a cruise ship, you are simply selecting a cabin and itinerary; with a resort, maybe a view or certain activities; on a charter yacht, you will come as a guest but you will leave as a friend.
Helping the charter vacation specialist with the questionnaire gives them a great start as to how to help you select the best yachts for you to choose between. Ask them questions, they spend a lot of time and energy learning about the area, the yachts, crews, and itineraries. They will help you truly create the custom, dream vacation for you, your friends, or your family.
Once you've decided on a yacht, our work doesn't stop. You'll receive a form requesting your food, beverage and activity preferences. Let us know if you don't like certain foods, or if you do like others, even if you want to experiment! No more worrying if your finicky kids (or spouse) will like what's to eat! It will also help the yacht crew to prepare possible itineraries for your trip, waiting for your input as to where you want to go today!
