Sarah
and Alastair
are both
British
and have
been living
in the Caribbean
for over
ten years.
They met
in 1991
while cruising
around Cuba
and have
spent most
of their
time since
then racing,
cruising
and chartering
together.
Alastair
holds an
Royal
Yachting
Association's
'Yachtmaster'
certificate,
which is
only fitting
since he
has been
sailing
since the
age of 5.
He grew
up sailing
with his
family around
the Scottish
Hebrides
Islands.
His first
career,
as a tropical
medicine
entomologist,
brought
him to the
Caribbean,
where he
continued
to pursue
his love
of sailing.
The warm
waters of
the Caribbean
also tickled
his fancy
into scuba
diving,
and Al has
achieved
certification
as a PADI
divemaster
as well.
For the
past three
years, he
has been
enjoying
the challenge
and satisfaction
of crewing
and captaining
charter
yachts around
the British
Virgin Islands
and the
Eastern
Caribbean.
Sarah is
the chef
and hostess
aboard,
and has
an outgoing
and gregarious
person with
a great
sense of
humor. Previously
an advertising
executive
and television
producer,
she refined
her culinary
skills and
learned
fluent French
while living
in Paris
for three
years. As
a charter
chef, she
is able
to draw
on her creative
skills to
present
menus that
are both
diverse
and versatile.
Each meal
is customized
according
to the guests'
likes and
dislikes,
incorporating
a variety
of flavors
from around
the world
to excite
your palate
and feast
your eyes.
Whether
you are
the "island
party crowd"
or a family
with young
children,
Al and Sarah
will make
your vacation
of a lifetime
an experience
you will
want to
repeat time
and time
again. They
are totally
at home
on the ocean
and will
make you
totally
at home
on Breanker.
Come
share with
Al and Sarah
the white
sandy beaches,
fantastic
snorkeling
and diving,
the azure
waters and
the beautiful
sunsets.
