Don't Miss!
• A pearl farm. Even if you don’t want to bring home a Tahitian
black pearl, you’ll enjoy seeing how they are formed.
• The singing. Much has been made of Polynesian dancing, for good
reason. But be sure to hear the beautiful a capella singing.
Best place: a Sunday church service. You’ll be treated as an honored
guest.
• The Lagoonarium on Bora Bora. Swim with sharks, rays,
and turtles.
• An incredibly sweet coconut drink–indulge at the funky Bora Bora
Yacht Club or the very elegant Bora Bora Hotel.
• The Appamao River. Take your dinghy to explore this jungle
river.
• Le Truck. In Papeete, have dinner at one or more of the dinner
trucks that appear at nightfall on the waterfront. The food is great
and the prices are incredibly reasonable.
