Sail in Tahiti and the Society Islands- Raiatea, Tahaa, Bora Bora, Huahine, Maupiti. Don't Miss!
• A pearl farm. Even if you don’t want to bring home a Tahitian black pearl, you’ll enjoy seeing how they are formed.
• The singing. Much has been made of Polynesian dancing, for good reason. But be sure to hear the beautiful a capella singing. Best place: a Sunday church service. You’ll be treated as an honored guest.
• The Lagoonarium on Bora Bora. Swim with sharks, rays, and turtles.
• An incredibly sweet coconut drink–indulge at the funky Bora Bora Yacht Club or the very elegant Bora Bora Hotel.
• The Appamao River. Take your dinghy to explore this jungle river.
Le Truck. In Papeete, have dinner at one or more of the dinner trucks that appear at nightfall on the waterfront. The food is great and the prices are incredibly reasonable.
