Board
your yacht at the base in Marmaris. After your checkout and
chart briefing, settle in, then take time to explore the town,
built around a 16th-century fortress. The streets are tiny and
sheltered, with all the atmosphere of an Eastern bazaar.
Day 1: Set sail for Amos,
in a beautiful setting with pines, steep rocks, and, at the
top, the ruins of an ancient city. Swim and snorkel; then sail
on to Cliftik, a rocky island with a sandy beach and hot water
spring.
Day 2:
Sail to the bay of Karagac
and enjoy lunch at the island of Ylancik. Then it's a short
sail to Ekincik Bay, a large cove surrounded by mountains.

Day 3: Sail to the Bay
of Fethiye. You'll find dozens of spots to anchor along
the rugged coast, each with its own charm. Visit the bazaar
and hamam (Turkish baths) in the town.
Day 4: Spend another day
in this magnificent bay-there are over twenty anchorages to
choose from!
Day 5: Sail to Gemilier,
where you can visit the ruins of a Byzantine city. Walk up to
the ancient Greek picturesque village of Kaya.
Day 6: Sail to Turunc.
Swim, relax. Have dinner at a taverna ashore.
Day 7: Return to Marmaris.
This
is a sample itinerary. You have many choices of routes and anchorages,

You’ll
sail along the rocky, pine-covered Turquoise Coast of the Aegean Sea
to idyllic, secluded bays, quiet coves, and deep gulfs stretching
for dozens of miles.
From Kusadasi to Kemer, Turkey offers some of the most splendid
sailing in Europe. You'll cruise through the heart of a region steeped
in history and see the ruins of ancient cities, Frankish
castles, and remnants of Byzantine glory.
The Turks are
hospitable and welcoming. The Turkish coast is unspoiled by tourism,
and many of the places you'll visit are accessible only by boat.

Be sure to bring
along your sense of adventure. You're cruising along the ancient
border of East and West. The market is the bazaar, and it holds
a wealth of treasures, from heady spices to beautiful carpets
and brass ornaments. Trips ashore will take you to fascinating
archeological sites and ruins from many ancient civilizations.
Relax with a Turkish bath or sip a glass fo Turkish tea in
the bazaar.

The base at Marmaris is located at the heart of the Turquise
Coast, with a choice of itineraries that offer protected waters
and pleasant sailing. One of the most beautiful towns in Turkey, Marmaris
is situated in a deep bay with lovely beaches. Sail to the Bay
of Fethiye, where steep, pine-covered cliffs lead down
to clear blue water. There are myriad coves and inlets and
dozens of anchorages. Visit Lycian tombs in your dinghy. Enjoy
the bustling market town of Fethiye.
Wind and Weather
The summer months are dry and delightful in the Med. Temperatures
range from the high 70’s in May and September to the 80’s in June,
July, and August. Winds here have romantic-sounding names and vary
in strength and direction. Your Charter Coordinator can help you choose
