Majorca,
Menora, Ibiza, Formentera. The very names have magic.
Over the centuries, sailors from every corner of the Mediterranean
left their imprint on these fabled islands: the Greeks and Romans,
the Moors, and the men of Byzantium. Today, each island has a distinct
personality. Visit the bustling port of Mahon on Menorca or quiet,
remote Formentera, with its unspoiled natural beauty and secluded
beaches. Relive history and tour the Cathedral and the citadel in
Palma. On Ibiza, Bask on the beach with the jet set. These are islands
of contrast. Choose a mood, or try them all.
Wind and Weather
The summer months are dry and delightful in the Med. Temperatures
range from the high 70’s in May and September to the 80’s in June,
July, and August. Winds here have romantic-sounding names and vary
in strength and direction. Your Charter Coordinator can help you choose
the sailing area, yacht, and season best suited to your skill and
comfort.
