Antigua, Guadeloupe,
Martinique or take advantage of one-way
charters in the USVI, BVI,
Leewards, Windwards, or Grenadines
and discover several islands in one vacation. Some are low, endless
stretches of beach, graced with palms. Others are old volcanoes,
covered with luxuriant forest. Each has a unique personality born
of its heritage and history.
The climate
is ideal throughout the Caribbean, with temperatures in the 70's
and 80's year round. The prevailing
tradewinds blow Northeasterly from November to January, at 15
to 20 knots, with stronger winds possible
from mid-December through January. The trades bocome more easterly
by February, and, by June, they're blowing southeasterly at 10 to
15 knots. Rain showers are possible any time of the year, but they
last just long enough to leave a rainbow.
