A
vacation on your own Bareboat Charter Yacht begins with figuring
out what is the best yacht for your needs. The best way to do
that is through working with a charter vacation specialist.
We will talk to you and identify exactly what will make this the
perfect customized vacation for you.
The
first question is obviously how many people will be
going? We can handle any number of people, from 2 to 200,
but exactly how to do it is key. Will there be children who
need separate berths versus adults who wouldn't care much
for bunk beds on their honeymoon? Do you need a yacht that
offers SCUBA diving, or even dive instruction, or just
casual snorkeling to see the underwater world of our beautiful
islands?
Helping the charter vacation specialist with the questionnaire
gives them a great start as to how to help you select the best
yachts for you to choose between. Ask them questions, they spend
a lot of time and energy learning about the area, the yachts and
itineraries. They will help you truly create the custom, dream
vacation for you, your friends, or your family.
Once you've decided on a yacht, our work doesn't stop.
You'll receive a form requesting your food, beverage and activity
preferences. It will also help us to prepare possible itineraries
for your trip, waiting for your input as to where you want to
go today!
BOOKING
PROCEDURES ______________________
It all starts with
your request on one side and us trying to find the right boat
for you and your requirements.
Once you have discussed with us the various types of yachts, location
and terms under which the yacht operates, we will be ready to
put a hold on the boat. During the "hold" period,
the boat cannot be booked by another charterer.
We will prepare and fax to you a Charter Agreement stating
the yacht, the dates of your sailing, description of your charter,
location, cruising area and cost.
You have to sign the Charter Agreement and fax it back
to us arranging the down payment. The down payment is 50% of your
total charter fee. The balance on all our charters is paid 60
Days prior your start date. You can pay by Credit Card ( we
accept Visa, Master Card, AMEX, Discover, Dinners) or by wire
transfer or by check if your Bank is US based Bank.
Then we confirm your
charter and we prepare a package with all the charter documents,
information about your charter and the area you are sailing, a
nautical chart and a Waters Pilot book with a lot
of information.
What Sailing Paradise offers you
We will send you a
detailed questionnaire (preference sheet) requesting information
on your travel arrangements, guest list, likes and dislikes, special
requirements, etc. This information will be discussed with you
in some detail to ensure we gather as much information as possible.
This is then sent to the Captain so that he can make the necessary
arrangements, work with the Chef to order the right provisions
and taking care that all your requirements will be met.
